Newcastle and Caledonian Brewery team up to release four limited ales


The influence of craft beer on the large breweries is once a again demonstrated by Heineken’s lastest announcement. Two Heineken brands, Newscastle of England and Caledonian of Scotland are teaming up to produce four limited edition ales in the vein of craft beer. The beers that will be produced are as follows: a light golden citrusy beer called Newcastle Summer Ale, a red sweet berry beer called Newcastle Werewolf, a hoppy creamy ale called Newcastle Winter IPA, and a sweet full-boded beer called Newcastle Founder’s ale. These beer will be available nationwide in the US in 6 packs, 12 packs, and on draft.
